Spring is in the air in Central Texas. Our pond has Water Lilies , Equisetum , Papyrus, and Cannas. Tadpoles, Goldfish, Minnows, and Gambusias abound!
Three baby bunnies were born in Spring 2023 in our above ground garden trough. We often spot the teenage bunnies in our backyard foraging for tender plant parts.
It's time to prepare our gardens and plant seeds to germinate for Spring. We grow Yarrow (pictured above), Lavender, Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Rosemary, Comfrey, Lemongrass, and Catnip. Also, we are trying to grow Wine Cap mushrooms in an outside bed this spring as well.
Calendula brings bright colors to our garden and attracts pollinators as well.
In addition, we have Blue Cornflower blooming as well that we use in
our Smooth As Silk Tea.
